Canada’s Capitol occupied by truckers protesting the cross border Covid Vaccine requirement.
Has ten percent of the trucking industry that hauls goods to and from the US and Mexico turned into Canada’s own little insurrection?
Canadians look upon this demonstration with our usual aplomb and amusement while acknowledging that in our democratic country peaceful demonstrations which are frequent (especially here in British Columbia) are a right.
It is unfortunate that ten percent of the truckers that haul cross border do not want to get vaccinated. And that is their absolute right to make that choice. But please do not complain about not being able to work and fee your family.

While you been demonstrating for the past couple of weeks, you could have been working “in Canada” to support you family. And you are not the majority. Ninety Percent vs 10 Percent!

This well seemingly well-organized group has certainly have been able to attract funds, first through the GoFundMe Me debacle, and now another US online funding organization stepping up the plate to fill the gap where they raised a couple of million very quickly.
Swastikas, Confederate Flags, Ted Cruz??? Disrespecting other Canadian Citizens and National Monuments??? What in the World?
At least the citizens have temporary relief now from the court order banning truck hours for a ten-day period.
It is my understanding the truck organizers have a document or manifesto they believe can eliminate all Vovid-19 restrictions, including vaccinations, masks, and social distancing and that they can usurp Prime Minister Justin Trudeau from office. I have not seen this document and I do not think anyone else has either.
Have you people been sniffing the gas from those containers we have seen walked down the street to fuel the demonstration?
Come on! Canada is a democracy.

Your manifesto will go nowhere and nor should it.
You have managed to get your point across to the Canadian Government and indeed all Canadians, but it is time to give Ottawa back to it is Citizen’s and go home. You are free and entitled to peaceful demonstrations, but times up – go home. Keep doing the regional demonstrations if you wish but stop making other Canadians lives miserable.
